Now that the dust has settled, and Nick Blackwell is back on the right road to recovery we just wanted to write a little piece to congratulate the Wiltshire Warrior on a fantastic career.

Nick was an all-out entertaining fighter, who at domestic level reached the heights of British boxing.

His final battle against Chris Eubank Jr was a grueling contest, and one that many fans will remember Nick for showing true heart and courage to dig deep and take the fight to Eubank Jr.

Future Boxing Work

Hopefully we will see Nick stay in boxing in some capacity, and impart his wisdom on to the youth in his home town.

Nick will be missed by boxing fans, as he was never in a boring fight and put it all on the line to entertain, but he has made the right decision to hang up the gloves, to keep himself in good health.

We wish Nick all the success in whatever he decides to do in the future!

WOMAA/ WKS British Open will be held at the Western Leisure Centre in Cardiff on Sunday 22nd November 2015.

We shall be in attendance for the day, with a stand setup selling K.O. Clothing items. We will be looking to speak to local clubs about some fantastic opportunities for great deals on club clothing. Pop over and say hello!

Combat & Weapons

There will be some fantastic competitive action on throughout the day, from light contact martial arts, to semi contact. There will also be weapons displays from various athletes displaying their skills.

Sanigar Events are putting on an action packed night of Championship Boxing at the Newport Leisure Centre on Friday 30th October broadcast live on Eurosport.

We shall be in attendance with a K.O. Clothing stand, selling merchandise and there for all of the top class boxing that Sanigar Events will be putting on.

20% of our proceeds will be going towards Sanigar’s charity, Empire Fighting Chance which is a fantastic cause!

The Past

Jamie Arthur will be coming back after a 3 year absence and will be campaigning at super featherweight. Jamie will be competing in a 6 round contest.

The Present

Cardiff’s Craig ‘The Kid’ Kennedy will be looking to enhance his name on his quest towards fighting for the British title in taking on the hard hitting African Benki Mwakalebela. This should be a great fight, and one that will have all fans eagerly anticipating.

The Future

Wale’s most accomplished and successful amateur boxer Andrew Selby will be making his professional debut on home soil against Tanzania’s Haji Juma. Andrew is a huge talent, and will be looking to emulate a similar career that his brother Lee Selby has had to date.

Stephen Vaughan of Vaughan Promotions has pulled off a master stroke for his latest show and will be putting on a top night of professional boxing with former 4 weight world champion legend Roy Jones Jr, taking part in the headline fight facing local cruiserweight boxer Tony Moran.

Everyone in Liverpool, and all the travelling fans will be in for a treat as they get to see Jones Jr in action.

Roy Jones Jr is on a mission to get a world title crack in the cruiseweight division, as this is one weight which has eluded him of a world title crown. Roy has already had 3 fights this year, and is scheduled for 2 more to move him closer to getting a world title shot!

This is also a huge opportunity for Tony Moran to test his toughness & boxing knowledge against one of the all time greats.

Ché will be fighting against K.O. Clothing sponsored Polish fighter Artur Saladiak of the South West Black Belt Academy, Ilminster, Somerset in a K1 sanctioned bout.

Ché is a worldwide MMA veteran who has fought the who's who of MMA, with a respectable 2-1-1 record in the UFC. He will be fighting in his hometown for the very first time. Saladiak (sponsored by K.O. Clothing) carries an unbeaten kickboxing record. He is super aggressive and never takes a backward step which should make for an electrifying fight. This fight will be carnage!

Mark Finney vs Bryn Cooper

This is the co-main event is for the WRSA super welterweight English title. Both fighters have a passion for violence. Neither of these guys are ever in a dull & boring fight and Night of Kombat fans are in for an all action treat.

Steve Smith vs Mal Dye

This is another great fight for Night of Kombat II. Both fighters come from respected camps. This will be a very technical fight.

Britain's number 1 heavyweight Tyson Fury will be facing Wladimir Klitschko for the Ukrainian's WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles in Dusseldorf, Germany on 24 October.

This has been the big encounter Tyson has craved for some time, and could well be the key to becoming a big star in the heavyweight division.

Tyson said on Twitter he could not wait for what would be the "best fight in heavyweight history" and added he would knock out Klitschko.

With Lucas still waiting in the shadows, and unclear of his next match-up, facing the winner of the 24th October fight is a very realistic match-up that could be made easily should the winner decide to choose 'Big Daddy' Browne.

Lucas has recently been vocal with his 'loo video' about Tyson Fury, and the situation he is currently in, which makes for a good watch.

According to BBC Sport it would appear that Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport has today confirmed that they are in talks with Gennady Golovkin's promotional team with regards to a potential super fight between Carl Froch and GGG.

This would be an absolute war and almost guaranteed contest for fight of the year if this fight does get made. Both fighters have a never say die attitude and would be prepared to put it all on the line to give the fans a fight they would never forget.

Fight at 168 lbs

You would have to assume that Golovkin would move up to 168 pounds for this fight to take place as The Cobra has campaigned at super middleweight throughout his entire career.

What would make this intriguing is, would GGG carry his power from middleweight up to super middleweight? Froch is no mug, and is arguably the best & most entertaining super middleweight on the planet, so would relish the challenge and would not shy away from a war with the big hitter from Kazakhstan!

No Titles

Another interesting factor for this fight would be there would be no titles on the line. Froch was recently stripped of his WBA title and vacated his IBF title, which is being fought for this weekend between James DeGale and former Froch foe Andre Dirrell.

World titles are what every fighter dreams of achieving, but every once in a while, there is a super fight where titles are not necessary.

Should this fight happen K.O. Clothing would expect there to be major fireworks, and with Froch and GGG both being warriors, we would not be surprised if this fight went the distance and was a classic 12 round war!

WBA Title Shot

Lucas is still in line to fight for the regular WBA heavyweight title. He was due to fight Ruslan Chagaev this summer, but Chagaev was given permission by the WBA to fight a voluntary on July 11 against Francesco Pianteta who was soundly beaten by Wladamit Klitschko back in 2013. Lucas will face the winner of this fight around September/ October time!

Infinity Full On: Reloaded was a hugely successful night, with some top fights taken place. All of the fighters put on a top notch night of full on action, and there were some specific fights of note with explosive finishes! Fight #13 Artur Saladiak from Poland destroyed Dan Curtain within the first minute of round one. Artur was also sporting our new Muay Thai shorts for the fight.

In Fight #14 you can see David Harris wearing our new Boxing shorts. David took this fight with just 3 days' notice. He also had to lose weight to take this fight and in such a short space of time still managed to put on an incredibly brave & solid performance.

In Fight #8 Brett Jacobs is wearing our new MMA shorts. Brett put on a fantastic performance and won with a 3rd round stoppage.

In Fight #1 young Liam Timmins was the first out in our brand new camo style Muay Thai shorts. Liam took this fight with only 2 days' notice, and had never fought K1 before. This was an incredibly close fight, but Paige Marsh was a worthy winner and there will be a rematch on Infinity Martial Arts next show, which will be on June 20th.
